Big Island Randezvous

On October 4th, all fourth grade students will participate in a Native American Education Day at the Big Island Rendezvous in Albert Lea, Minnesota.  Students will get a first hand experience concerning Native American customs and crafts.
A note was sent home on Monday explaining this field trip in a little more detail.  On this note, we attached a permission slip that needs to be returned by Tuesday, September 25th.  If you did not get a note, let me know and I will send another one home with your child.

People of Inspiration

This week in writing the classes wrote about someone who has made a difference in the world.  Everyone worked extremely hard on this project and I am very proud of everyone.  I have attached one of the students work for you to see.  I will eventually have all of these posted for you to view.

Hard Working Class!

Wow, what a class we had today!  The classes have been working extremely hard on sentence and paragraph structure this week and today was an outstanding day.  We started off by working on fragmented sentences and moved into writing paragraphs.  They were doing such an outstanding job I asked Ali Maulsby to video tape the class in action!  Thanks for the wonderful kids!
